Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, Kahramanmaras, Türkiye
Abstract. This study was conducted to measure and compare the financial performance of public, domestic private and foreign capital deposit bank groups operating in Turkey in 2020-2021 and 2022, covering the Covid-19 pandemic period. For this purpose, TOPSIS method, one of the multicriteria decision-making techniques, was used. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that domestic deposit banks with private capital performed the best in 2020 and 2021, while deposit banks with foreign capital performed better in 2022. It was concluded that state-owned banks performed worse than domestic private and foreign-owned banks during the pandemic period.
